If People are left free to pursue their dreams, will other people loose their Moral Backbone? This is the Question you are proposing. 

I know you would prefer that no morals be introduced into the law because you cant decide whose morals are right.

It sounds to me that you want to LEGISLATE MORALITY, by passing laws to prevent people from loosing their moral backbone.

I think the answer to your question is that if people are left free to pursue their dreams it will not lead to a lack of moral backbone, as a mater of fact I would say that a loss of freedom would be more likely to result in a loss of morals. I say this because I think that a loss of freedom is really a loss of personal responsibility, a loss of personal responsibility would then be followed by a loss of morals.
