Extraordinary Eh?

Up

Congratulations to the City of Sterling Heights for finishing the rebuilding of Ryan Road.

I think there are 2 features that deserve additional praise.

First kudos to the people who signed the purchase order for the construction of Right Turn lanes at the intersection of 18 Mile Road. One knows it is far easier and cheaper to add these lanes when all the crews and equipment are all ready at the construction sight. Look at how smooth the traffic on 15 Mile flows across Ryan since the City had the foresight to build in Right Turn lanes on 15 Mile when it was rebuilt.

Second the intersection of Dorby and Ryan is simply amazing.

Notice how the Right Lane heading north Suddenly becomes a Right Turn only lane, and what happens if one doesn't turn right?

Whoa there! Looks like nothing but curb! Looks like someone is trailblazing all ready! Maybe after someone gets seriously hurt the road can narrow down after the intersection.

And look at this Yellow Sign,  how nice to know, the road narrows a bit.

How about using some of the money saved by adding the Right Turn lanes on 15 Mile and Ryan or on Ryan and 18 Mile and finish this intersection correctly, before someone gets a flat tire, or worse.

More Ryan Road Fun!
