Extraordinary Eh?

Up

On July 30, 2000 the following crossed my feeble little mind.

The continuing flap over copyrights and Nabster got me thinking.

Most of the so called recording artist and the Hollywood crowd are liberal as a long summer day. Just listen to Robin Williams spew his hatred of conservative values to Clintons applause.

The liberals have gotten along with Anti-trust laws, is the concept of "Earned" and "Un-earned" income ingrained into the tax code. The general notion that earned income is more "noble" than unearned income, and thus subject to a less harsh tax treatment. "Un-earned" income is more "dirty", since it is received from the sweat of the workers, thus subject to a more punishing tax.

Un-earned income would include, Coupons clipped from Bonds, Dividends collected from Stocks, and payment of Royalties.

Is not the recording stars opposition to Nabster due to the fact that it could interfere with their royalties, or in other words Nabster could interfere with their un-earned income?
